Grease= Grease is a decent musical at least it does contain pretty catchy songs

Frozen= Frozen is a heart warming story with lots of songs. They are good songs but when your 13-year-old sister sings them, you just want to die.

Our Action:

  1. Doing Work but not having enough time
  2.  Maui decided to slow the sun
  3. Maui Set off to find the sun
  4. When he found out where the sun is he tried slowing it by pulling him with the hook

Script:

Narrator:Eltaf

Sun/Sister: Sofia

Maui: Logan

Script:

E: A long time ago, when the Earth was flat, the Sun went round and round the earth. To Maui the days were too short and not much could be done. And nights were too long and were the only time things could be done,. But at night the monsters roamed so nothing could be done then as well. Maui had had enough.

L: This is bad. We are falling behind on work. We need to do something about this Sun.

S: We can’t do much. What would you do?

L: I would slow down the Sun. No, I will slow down the Sun!

E: So Maui set off to find the home of the Sun. He traveled for many weeks (Mostly because the days were short), but finally he got to the Sun's house. But it was night time so he went to bed. Eventually morning came.

L: Good morning Sun! Maybe you could, like, slow down, please.

S:no

L: Come on bro I said please.

S: Go away man.

L: Okay, I didn’t want to do this (throws invisible hook). Hiiiii-Ya

S: What are you doing?

L: (Pulls hook)

(watch as speedometer goes to 2 kph)

S: Hooray, Maui slowed the sun

E: After that the harvest sped up and Maui was hailed as a hero. DA END

M&M's in two packets

What have I learnt?
I've learnt how to quickly make graphs using google. I also learnt that not every M&M packet has the same amount of sweets

For both groups, orange was the most popular with yellow and blue coming second. In my group, there was only 55 as for the other one there were 56.

What I thought of the work it was fun as at the end we got to eat the M&M's at the end. I wondered why the M&M company didn't make sure that the packets had even amounts

We are hornby assement

What we are learning: We are learning how Hornby is a community and how everyone's role is important to keep the community.

How I think this work shows my learning: This shows my learning by showing what everyone's role is important to keep the community in balance and what those roles are.

If I did this task again what would I do differently: If I did this again I would have a go at doing it by myself because I think the challenge would be good for me.

Something I am wondering or a question I have from completing this work: I am wondering if Zach and I could have done it differently because the way we did it was seemingly too easy and I would be more fun if it was challenging.

Drama week 5

2.3.17

Today we played two games. First, we played a game called tahi-rua-toru (one-two-three). You have a partner and the first person says 1, the other says 2, and then the first says 3. Repeat and make the numbers actions. Then we played present where someone pretends to give someone else a present and the receiver says what it is. The giver then says what is different about it.

A game I would like to play is story selector. Someone gets people to write a thing on a piece of paper. The story chooser has to be a narrator and includes the things that were written down. The others then have to act it out. It is best played in a group of 5.
